this is your brain writing holiday cards on drugs
So I’ve just been informed by Jen that she and Dereck received Amanda and Chris’s holiday greeting card. I can only hope that Amanda and Chris got Jen and Dereck’s card; if not, well… god knows who got what.
It just seemed so EASY, when I was writing them all, like 50 cards in one night, stoned out of my mind on Vicodin. Oops.

Yeah well, they are not the only ones!! You would think that you could keep your youngest sister and your best friend straight…must be the drugs.

I received mine! Thanks! Were these written the night you wound up visiting the ER a second time?

I got mine today! Thank you!
I didn’t think drugs could make even holiday cards complicated.

hey, you got me right! I was pleased to see it in the mail. it didn’t seem like a drugged out card at all, so yay.

No, they were not written while on codeine–codeine actually puts me to sleep, before waking me up with stabbing upper abdominal pains.
This was after the ER, when they gave me a prescription for acetaminophen with vicodin, but those were wimpy, so I took one of the big ones I had left over from my wisdom teeth removal (which Andrea tells me was crazy, because it was so old, and I have since thrown the rest away lest it degrade and kill me dead).
Anyway, Vicodin makes me loopy, but also it makes me feel very productive. Deceptively so, apparently.
I’m glad I got SOME of them right.
